User training

In the context of information literacy and support for teaching activities and research, the library organizes a series of training sessions every semester aiming to:

  • Inform about available information resources and services;
  • Help students, teachers, and researchers develop information and research skills;
  • Introduce the trainees to the citation and reference style currently in use at the university;
  • Alert about the ethical use of information and plagiarism.

There are three types of sessions: initial training, thematic library training, and thematic training on request.

Please note
► The sessions in the classroom are scheduled according to the availability of the library team members;
► All online training sessions aim to facilitate access to information and resources for the entire academic community, but particularly for students in the Online programs;
► The sessions in the classoom requested by teachers for online course classes can be conducted on MS Teams.
