Euromonitor Passport is an online resource restricted to the University's community.
Access the Library's digital resources from anywhere and on any device with OpenAthens, using only your institutional credentials, that is, your student or teacher number and your password.
Access https://www.portal.euromonitor.com/portal and choose the Institutional Access - OpenAthens option.
Find your Institution. Type "Universidade Europeia" in the search bar:
Select “Comunidade Universidade Europeia e IPAM”.
Enter your institutional credentials:
You can start your search by typing your keywords in the search bar at the top of the page.
You’ll notice that, as you type, a preview will appear below the search bar.
This search will return all the existing data on Euromonitor Passport related to the keywords you selected.
Selecting categories and topics
You can limit your search results by choosing one of the existing categories or topics.
Example: Statistical data search on footwear in Portugal
Start your search by selecting “Industries” on the “Explore categories” box, located on the main page. Next, click “Go”:
You'll be redirected to a page where you can select other categories and subcategories:
Click "Next" to select a region or country ("Geographies").
Here, select the region or country in the search bar, or select one of the existing options below.
In this case, select "Western Europe" and then the subcategory "Portugal":
With these options selected, click the "Search" button.
The first tab contains statistical data relevant to the search we made as well as options to refine these results.
To view a data set, select "View full data set":
Here we will find a customizable table with various options. We can limit the results shown by applying filters or modifying categories and/or subcategories.

Dashboards
On the results homepage, select the "Dashboards" tab.
Dashboards allow for the presentation of statistical data in a more visual and interactive way.
Within the "Map View" option in the "Category View" tab, you will find various types of information; just select the categories you want.

One of the most useful features available on Euromonitor Passport is the company profile search.
Most profiles can be local (by country) or global.
To find a company profile, access "Companies":
Type the name of the company in the search bar:
After typing the company’s name select either a global (World) or a local (country) profile.
On the profile page, you will find specific information regarding this company indexed in a table of contents on the left.

In the case of a local profile, you can download the graphs presented in "Download datagraphics" at the bottom of the page in PDF format
To find the PEST analysis of a country, simply type the expression "pest analysis" followed by the name of the country in the search bar and select the analysis that appears as a suggestion.
The PEST analysis will appear with the option to apply filters available on the left and to download the analysis in PDF format.
