Borrow, renew, return, hold

Borrow
You may borrow up to 4 library books at a time, from any of our libraries.
Library books are loaned for seven days (1 week) and must be returned or renewed within this period.

Renew
You may renew each item twice as long as they are not on hold for another library user.
You can renew your loans by accessing your personal area in the library catalogue, by email (send us an email or reply to an automatic notice you've received), by chat, by telephone, or in-person.

Return
As you can borrow books from any library, you can also return books to any library as well.

Hold
You can place up to two holds on available or checked-out books from your library branch.
If you’d like to place a hold on a library book from another branch, please contact your local library.
You can place a hold by accessing your personal area in the library catalogue, by email, by chat, by telephone, or in-person.
