Gazette: historic collection (Gazeta: colección histórica) is a book collection of historic legal documents that offers free access to the official publications prior to the current Spanish's Official Gazette. It includes legal texts from 1661 to 1959. The collection includes a million and a half different records that create an enriched information source about national and international affairs through History.

How to search?
For using the search option, you have to go to "Busque una noticia" (Search a piece of news) section and clic on the link.
Then, the advanced filters will unfold. The filters allow you to limit your search by period of history, name of the gazzete or the publishing otgan, among others.
The results will be shown as a list with information about the gazette or the institution, depending on the filters, and the access in PDF format.
In order to search from the archives, you have to go to the "Hemeroteca" section (Newspaper archives) and clic on the link.
Once there, you will see a month calendar. First, you have to filter by year or historic period. Then you may browse the calendar to choose a month and day.
- Red marks the days when there wasn't a gazette published.
- Grey marks the days when there isn't data available.
- Blue marks the days when there was publication and you can clic to view it.
Every search option, whereas quick search, basic search or advanced search, can include boolean operators in both filter options or search bars. You must always write a period before the operator
