The Spanish's Official Gazette publishes laws, provisions, settlements and other spanish administrative acts that must be known by the citizens. It is managed by the National Agency of the State's Official Gazette, who edites, publishes and disseminates it to grant the legal and administrative transparency of the spanish law.
The Official Gazette includes provisions published in the Official Gazette since 1960 of sections I, II and III. Besides, they collect announcements from section IV since 2009 and announcements from section V since 1960. It also offers settlements from the Constitutional Court since 1981.
"Quick search" is the predeterminated search option. This search allows you to write text or keywords for a specific area. If not changed, the search will be launched for "legislation", that is spanish laws published in the Official Gazette.
However, you can also make a quick search in different areas:

The advanced search allows you to limit your query with specific filters for a more precise answer. To access advanced search you only have to clic on the desired option among the areas available in the "BOE" box under the search bar. It offers the same areas as the quick search, although it allows you to access a list with the latest scholarships, subsidies and awards.

Once in the selected area, the available filters will unfold to limit the query in this area.
To properly access to the advanced search, you have to clic on the magnifying glass blue icon located in the right side of the search box. It will unfold the advanced options to search by range, publishing organ, number of publication... etc. You can also combine these options with boolean operators.

Every search option, whereas quick search, basic search or advanced search, can include boolean operators in both filter options or search bars. However, you must always write a period before the operator
