This report tells the SDG story in numbers, but it is, above all, a call to action – a call for ambitious action in six critical SDG transitions: food systems, energy, digital connectivity, education, jobs and social protection, and climate and biodiversity. Making these transitions requires massive investment, robust policies and urgent acceleration. It also requires removing barriers to the full participation of women in economies and public life, ending gender-based violence, and ensuring equal access to education, employment and leadership. It means tackling poverty and inequality head-on, closing the digital divide and ensuring that technology, including artificial intelligence, is harnessed inclusively and responsibly.
