The official search engine of the General Council of the Judiciary allows users to locate judicial rulings from the National Court and other bodies; it also provides access to CENDOJ (Judicial Documentation Center), where judgments and orders issued by various Spanish courts are compiled and disseminated. The search engine is designed to facilitate the consultation of rulings from the National Court (including the Central Courts of Instruction, Penitentiary Supervision, and Administrative Litigation), as well as from the Civil, Criminal, and Administrative Chambers of the High Courts of Justice.
|
The CENDOJ portal offers quick access to the most frequently consulted rulings and a section of judgments organized by topic.
The main interface provides access to the LATEST JUDGMENTS of the SUPREME COURT, organized by chamber (Civil, Criminal, Administrative, Labor, Military, and Special).
CENDOJ itself offers a statistics service divided into three main sections:
COVID-19 Rulings: Statistics on user access to published rulings related to COVID-19.
COVID-19 Searches: Statistics on user searches for published rulings related to COVID-19.
Case Law Search Engine: Statistics on case law. Interactive charts with access to rulings. Data updated weekly.

When was CENDOJ created?
In June 1997, a team of twelve people—a director, two lawyers, two documentalists, three assistants, two IT specialists, a reprographics specialist, and a clerk—launched CENDOJ, created by the General Council of the Judiciary to meet the need of members of the judiciary to receive constantly updated legislative, jurisprudential, and doctrinal information.
What is its main task?
CENDOJ is responsible for the conception, design, production, security, technical and document content management, administration, development, and maintenance of the public and private website www.poderjudicial.es, through which most of the services provided by the Center are accessed.
Does CENDOJ have an alert system?
Yes, you can create an alert for each topic of interest. For each alert, the following information will be displayed: its creation date, title, the portal it belongs to, a checkmark indicating whether the alert is active, and its frequency. In addition to this data, a series of buttons are also displayed to interact with the alert.
